Hi All,
I trust this finds you all well and sticking to your New Year's resolutions...
I am excited to announce that "Felt Cuisine - A Taste of Italy" is finally finished and is now available in an ever growing number of places ( along with the other Guides in the "Felt Cuisine" series...)
"A Taste of Italy" is the fourth release in the series, following the great success of "Cakes by Design" (released July 2007), "Sushi by Design" (released September 2007) and "Tarts and Pancakes" (released November 2007).
This 4th release brings into play our family's love of Italian food. My kids suggested that I make some Pizza and I thought what a fabulous idea... and so "A Taste of Italy" was born.
This craft guide (like all the others in the "Felt Cuisine" series) is very much a step by step, fully illustrated guide that will take even a novice sewer / craftster and show them in great detail how to create ... 6 different Gourmet Pizza's... 5 different 'fresh' pasta designs, some Garlic bread that will quite simply make you hungry... and of course 5 different Cannoli designs... because you always need something sweet to finish...
These designs look complex, but it is simply a matter of following the simple steps one by one ( that are all laid out for you) and putting them all together. Even ready to use "cut out 'n' go" templates are provided for all the designs. So all you need to do is cut out the templates, trace the shapes onto your felt and you are half way there...
As you can see at the top of this post, I have included a couple of images from the book to whet your taste buds and to give you some idea of what is contained within the pages of "Felt Cuisine - A Taste of Italy"...
As I usually do, to celebrate the launch of "Felt Cuisine - A Taste of Italy", I have reduced the price of ALL the "Felt Cuisine" craft guides to just USD$14.97, but I am not sure how long I can keep them at this price, so if you are interested... and you think that your wee one would love to become a little "pizza man" or "pasta lady"... then you may want to check out this latest work of mine...
Of course we have our step by step craft guides available from our own website at http://www.FeltCuisine.com/ ... but we have also opened up online stores in the following locations... to try and get the word out and put even more smiles on the faces of more children around the world...

I'm looking forward to the next release already!
How about some fruit and veges? I'd love to make a fruit bowl for the play kitchen.
Great Idea Karen...
Thank you for your feedback. Fruit & Vegetables are certainly in the plan of attack for the next couple of releases in the series.
We will keep you posted.
Regards
Hiromi
I've put my vote in via email recently for vegetables. There are patterns out there for sweets and the like (but none as good or as easy to follow as yours!!), but I can't find even a bad vegetable pattern! I think you'd gain a lot of loyal customers if you could get vegetables out there in the next release or two.
Whole carrots, green beans, corn, lettuce leaves, spinach leaves, potatoes, garlic, onions, eggplant, zucchini, tomato slices... MMmmmm!
Thanks again, Hiromi, for these fantastic patterns! We're having a blast!
Heather
Thank you Heather, your kind words are greatfully received.
It is always fantastic to hear that our work has somehow inspired you and as a result put a smile on the faces of some wee ones that you love dearly.
I will look into vegetables... and see what I may be able to come up with... some may be easier than others, but I will experiment and do my best...
Warmly
Hiromi.
